Dear Adam Brody, I first saw you on MTV’s “Undressed.” You were fine, but it really wasn’t until your breakout role as Seth Cohen on “The OC” that I realized what a wonderous animal you were. The mix CDs and indie rock sensibility combined with your Jon Stewart-esque comedic timing and quirk is what made me, and jewesses and non-jewesses alike, fall in love with you. I often wonder what you would’ve put on a mix cd for me if we were dating. I would’ve wanted Hole, but you would’ve given me Cat Power. I would’ve wanted Joy Division, but you would’ve given me LCD Soundsystem. I would’ve wanted The Walkmen, but you would’ve given me Bob Dylan. Gimme something I want and gimme some neurotic babies.
