I was recently home sick for 7 days (!) bedridden, weak, bored, alone. (I’d like to thank the Academy…) This left me A LOT of time to watch TV - something I don’t normally do. I got to catch all the greats: Saved By The Bell (the Miss Bliss Years), Golden Girls (RIP Blanche), The Real Housewives of NJ. The real mind stimulators. Shockingly that only lasted 120 mins and then I yearned for some culture, some excitement. Cue: Current TV. It’s hidden up on channel 103, which is a pity b/c look who else is hiding with it: Max Lugavere (above). Max is a JEW (both parents and bar mitzvah’d, although he’s non-practicing). He’s half of hosts “Max and Jason” of Unseen. Upon further examination (creeping), Max is pretty much a perfect Jewish specimen. Journo. Producer. Singer-Songwriter. (His debut EP comes out this week - June 8th.) And, he’s like totes adorbs, as the kids say. Max, I hope you weren’t turned off by my some-what fwd pick up lines. Here’s hoping this much more subtle approach will win you over! -Casey
